This vintage wooden rocking chair can be used as a child rocker or a novelty rocker for large dolls and stuffed animals. It is handcrafted and has a medium wood tone finish. The seat is crocheted in black, with green as a secondary color. Even though this chair has been owned by my family for many years, its exact age is unknown. It sits 28” high, 14 3/4” at its widest point and 24 3/4” from front to back. The seat area is approximately 10 1/2” wide and 11 1/2” deep.
The rocking chair is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks in the wood and the original finish is intact. The rocking motion is smooth and even. The crocheted seat is also in excellent condition. There are no stains, tears or pulls. The seat is taunt; no sagging from use.
