The Old Town Discovery 158 canoe is made of 3-layer polyethylene, which is extremely durable and impact resistant, and has a long life. Known to be very stable due to its flat hull, it is capable of carrying 1,000 pounds, yet is very maneuverable. Even with these superb qualities this canoe only weighs 87 pounds, making it easily handled by two people.
